It's official. Leonardo Bonucci is a Union player

Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci has officially become a player of Union Berlin, the German club's press service reports.

According to the source, Leonardo Bonucci signed a contract on a 1+1 basis, meaning that after the end of the season, Berlin will be able to extend the agreement with the Italian. In the new team, Bonucci will play under number 23.

- "It is extremely important for me to take the first step abroad. At Union, I have the opportunity to continue playing at a high level and play with the team in three tournaments, using my experience. I am looking forward to this new stage in my career," said Leonardo Bonucci.
