Today, Oleksandr Ishchenko, Director of the Valeriy Lobanovsky Children's and Youth Sports School of Dynamo, celebrates his 70th birthday. On behalf of our club, the president of FC Dynamo Kyiv Ihor Surkis congratulated the hero of the day.

You have devoted many years of your career to Dynamo Kyiv as a coach of the club's Children's and Youth Sports School, and then as the director of our academy. Your invaluable experience, wisdom and true professionalism have been embodied in the upbringing of many new generations of our club's players.

The basis of Dynamo's first team is made up of the pupils of the club's academy, and you are to be commended for that. Dynamo's pupils also conquer the Spanish and English championships, which is a testament to the high level of training and organisation of our children's school.
