The head coach of the Ukraine U-17/18 national team Yurii Moroz told about his team's work plans for the upcoming training camp.
- I see this year's training camp as a review of candidates for the national team. The guys have grown up a bit, they play in their clubs. There are new people. I want to play new schemes, see the level of performers in the international arena.
- Did you manage to invite all the strongest players to the training camp?
- Given the current situation in our country, probably yes. We started from which of the guys had the most game practice.
- Have you studied the opponents for the upcoming tournament - or will you play, as they say, from scratch?
- There is very little information about the opponents. We have a certain idea, but we will get to know our opponents properly at the competition.
- Because of the war, many Ukrainian footballers went abroad. Are there any candidates for the national team that you are following, but they arenot atyour disposal now?
- Of course. The main thing is that these guys have playing practice in their clubs, then they will definitely have a chance to play for the national team.
It should be added that Moroz's team includes eight Dynamo players:
Viacheslav Surkis, Maksym Korobov, Denys Dykyi, Kyrylo Osypenko, Danylo Ishchenko, Vladyslav Kalyn, Matviy Ponomarenko and Vitalii Lobko.
