You are an extremely important and significant figure for the formation and development of Dynamo Kyiv and the national team of Ukraine in modern history, in the era of independence. It is difficult to overestimate the role you played in the revival of the famous Kyiv club in the 90s, as well as in the formation and development of football in independent Ukraine.
You contributed to the development of national football, its progress and reaching a new level, making possible the biggest sporting event in the history of independent Ukraine - the Euro 2012 final tournament. Your invaluable experience also helped in the management of European football, and most importantly, as Vice President of the European Union of Football Associations, you continued to take care of Ukrainian football, consistently defending the interests of our country at the highest level.
Your native Dynamo has always been in your heart. Your high professionalism, life experience and wise decisions have repeatedly helped the club in its development and victories.
