The next European Championship qualifying cycle of the youth national team of Ukraine (players born in 2002 and younger), led by the Spaniard Unai Melgosa, will start on 12 September with a home match against Northern Ireland. The game will take place in Slovakia, at the Poprad National Training Centre (19.30 Kyiv time). In addition to these two national teams, England, Serbia, Azerbaijan and Luxembourg will also play in Group F.

In preparation for the start of the Euro 2025 (U-21) qualifiers, the blue and yellows will play a sparring match with the German youth team. The match will take place on 8 September at the Ludwigsparkstadion in Saarbrücken (starting at 19.15 Kyiv time).

Earlier, the head coach of the blue and yellows, Unai Melgosa, named 23 players called up for the September training camp. However, the list was subsequently amended to include Andriy Buleza and Kyrylo Sigeev instead of Kostiantyn Vivcharenko and Oleh Ocheretko.
