Belgian side Anderlecht have announced the transfer of goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel on their official website.
Kasper Schmeichel, Getty ImagesThe 36-year-old footballer joined Anderlecht as a free agent. His contract is for one season with an option to extend for another year.
Last season, Schmeichel defended the colours of Nice, for whom he played 46 matches in all competitions.
