"Villarreal fires coach after 4 rounds of La Liga

"Villarreal has announced the resignation of its head coach Kike Setien.

After three defeats in the opening four rounds of the Spanish La Liga, the Yellow Submarine decided to terminate the contract with the 64-year-old. Miguel Angel Tena, Villarreal's director of football, will temporarily take over from Setienne.

It is worth reminding that Setienne took over at Villarreal in October last year. In the 2022/23 season, the team finished 5th in the Spanish league and qualified for the Europa League.
