Well-known journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko commented on the transfer of Dynamo Kyiv captain Serhiy Sydorchuk to Belgian side Westerlo.
"Sydorchuk's departure has four main components:
1. Salary. The Dynamo captain had about a million before the war. After the war started, his earnings were cut by 30 per cent. In the current circumstances, this is a burden on the team's budget. I think that Garmash was let go for the same reason. Farewell to Bushchan and Buyalsky is also possible soon.
2. Elimination from European competitions. There will be no money. The length of the squad is not needed.
3. Brazhko. There is a player who is ready to play this position. Brazhko is younger and has more potential. The team is unlikely to lose anything in the organisation of the game, and the potential and investment will be greater.
4. Prospects. With Aris and Besik, Dynamo did not win the middle of the pitch. In Istanbul and Thessaloniki, they lost the midfield confrontation. We need to change something.
I understand that after possible failures, Mircea will say that it's not the moves that are to blame, but the loss of Sydorchuk," Serhiy wrote on Facebook.
