Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Denys Garmash has officially moved to Croatian Osijek.
The 33-year-old Ukrainian footballer has signed a one-year contract with his new club with an option to automatically extend it for another year.
- "I know that Osijek is a well-organised club with excellent infrastructure. I saw that it has numerous and passionate fans, the atmosphere of the last home games was really impressive and that attracted me. I want to focus as much as possible on training, on getting to know my teammates and together with them to get the best possible result in Osijek.
I spoke to Drambaev (Shakhtar Donetsk defender on loan from Osijek - ed.), who said that I would not make a mistake if I come, I know that Cheberko also played here, and at Dynamo Kyiv I played with Domagoj Vida, who often talked about his beautiful country and the club where he grew up. I also know the coach from Rizespor here, so I believe it will be easier for me to adapt. Position in the team? I am an attacking midfielder who can play both as a full-back and as a striker, - said Garmash.
In the new team, as well as for the last 14 years in Dynamo, Denys will play under the number 19.
