NABU and SAP on Thursday, 7 September, informed the businessman and unofficial owner of Dnipro-1 Igor Kolomoyskyy about suspicion in the possession of funds of PrivatBank in the amount of more than 9.2 billion hryvnia. About it reports the press service of the NABU in Telegram.
According to the investigation, in January-March 2015 Kolomoisky, who at that time served as head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration, developed a plan to take possession of funds "PrivatBank" for the further financing of a controlled offshore company and increase its own share in the authorised capital of the Bank.
"To do this, the Bank artificially obliged to pay the said controlled company more than 9.2 billion UAH under the pretext of allegedly repurchase of its own bonds at an inflated cost", - stated in the message.
