The Football Association of England has extended the suspension of Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk for one more match, the organisation's official website reports.
Van Dijk received a straight red card in the EPL match against Newcastle in the 3rd round of the Premier League. The footballer did not want to leave the field for a long time and spoke obscenely to the referee. The player was disqualified for one match, which he has already missed. However, the English Football Association decided to further punish the Dutchman for swearing at the referee. As a result, the Dutchman will not help his team in the match of the 5th round of the Premier League against Wolverhampton.
