German football union prepares list of candidates to replace Flick

The German national team's crushing defeat in a friendly match against Japan (1:4) led to the dismissal of head coach Hans-Dieter Flick.

According to Sport Bild, the German Football Association has already compiled an extended list of candidates to replace the 58-year-old. Among the candidates are the names of local coaches Jürgen Klopp, Jürgen Klinsmann, Oliver Glasner, and Julian Nagelsmann. Among the foreign candidates are Zinedine Zidane and Louis van Gaal.
