Former Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal commented on the information about his possible appointment as head coach of the German national team.

But the truth is that no foreigner has ever worked with a German team," German journalist Florian Plettenberg quoted Van Gaal as saying on Twitter.
Earlier, the German Football Association announced the dismissal of Hans-Dieter Flick, who had been at the helm of the German national team since 2021.
