In the 25th minute, Erling Haaland showed off his goal kicking skills to put Norway ahead with a superb goal. The Norwegians continued to dominate the first half, showing great team play and a powerful attack. In the 33rd minute, Martin Odegaard, demonstrating his skill and accuracy, scored another incredible goal, increasing Norway's lead to 2-0. Georgia struggled to contain the Norwegian team's attacking power, and the score at halftime reflected their superiority. In the second half, however, Georgia picked up its spirits. Determined to turn the tide of the match, Georgia made their first substitution in the 46th minute: Giorgi Gocholeishvili replaced Vladimir Mamuchashvili. This move energised the team and Georgia started to build momentum.
In the 64th minute Zaur Davitashvili received a yellow card, which further fuelled the tension in the match. In response to this, Georgia made two substitutions in the 67th minute, bringing on Giorgi Chakvetadze and Beka Zivzivadze. In the 71st minute Norway made two substitutions, replacing Jens Striger Larsen with Sander Berge and Alexander Sorloth with Ola Solbakken. Georgia made their last substitution in the 76th minute, replacing Giorgi Kochorashvili with Akaki Mekvabishvili. Georgia, coming onto the pitch with fresh forces, continued to attack and persevere against the Norwegian defence. Eight minutes before the end of the match Beka Zivzivadze received a yellow card, which increased the tension of the last minutes of the match. Despite the late goal, Georgia managed to score a goal in the 90th minute and Zivzivadze redeemed himself, ending the match on a positive note for Georgia. Despite Georgia's late goal, it was not enough to overcome Norway's early lead. The match ended 2-1 in favour of Norway, much to the delight of their fans. The Norwegian team showed their skill and resilience, while Georgia showed their fighting spirit and determination. This European Championship qualifying match at Ullevaal Stadium was a great demonstration of the skill, passion and determination of both teams. With this victory, Norway moved closer to securing their place at the Championships, while Georgia need to regroup and focus on the upcoming matches to improve their qualification prospects.
