According to a source, Lyon is considering Lampard as a candidate for the head coaching position. It is noted that the club's owner John Textor is committed to Lampard's work.

Earlier it was reported that Lyon were interested in Gennaro Gattuso and Graham Potter. The latter refused to take over the club.
