"Manchester United has officially announced that Qualcomm will become the club's title sponsor from next season.
Already a global partner of United, Qualcomm has agreed to extend its partnership to include the Snapdragon brand emblem on the front of the shirts.
"Snapdragon is a family of microprocessors used in smartphones, tablets, desktop computers, gaming devices, augmented reality glasses and other devices.
In a brief statement released via the New York Stock Exchange, Manchester United announced that the Snapdragon logo will be featured on the home, away and third team jerseys of the Devils' men's and women's teams.
Thus, Snapdragon will take the place of the German software company TeamViewer, which found itself in a difficult financial situation after the coronavirus pandemic and in December agreed with Manchester United that the club would buy out the balance of its sponsorship contract, which runs until 2026.
While the deal with TeamViewer was valued at £47 million a year, Qualcomm will pay £60 million a season to promote its brand to MU.
