Head coach of Vorskla Poltava Viktor Skrypnyk shared his expectations from his team's match against Dynamo Kyiv in the 7th round of the Ukrainian championship, which will take place this Monday in the capital.
"To be honest, I would rather we played Dynamo before the break (we are talking about a two-week break in the Ukrainian championship due to national team matches - ed.) I really like to play against our greats. Especially against coaches who work systematically. You watch and you understand what they want to do on the field. You can read it.
How the team feels in the matchday is very important. You see that you have the whole clip in line, your eyes are burning. Everyone is ready. You look at the opponent - they have come from the national team, they are tired. We will make decisions based on this.
I felt that we found ourselves and this pause is somewhere of a disadvantage. The guys deserve to catch their breath a little bit and spend a few days with their families. Then you are in the dark. You lose your rhythm, you live in these games. The injured guys need more time to recover," Sport Express quotes Skrypnyk as saying.
