"Manchester City announced on its official website that it has extended the contract with defender Kyle Walker.
Kyle Walker, Getty ImagesThe new contract of the Citizens' right-back runs until June 2026. The England international was close to joining Bayern Munich, but has now extended his commitment to City for another two years.
"I am very happy for myself, my family, and everyone who has worked hard to get me here. It is a real honour to represent this fantastic club for two more seasons. I think there is something special about this team," Walker said.
