The official website of the Ukrainian Premier League has completed the traditional poll to determine the best in the Ukrainian championship at the end of the month: in this case - at the end of July-August.
This time the best player of the UPL was the defender of Krivoy Rog "Kryvbas" Ivan Dibango, who got 50.9% of votes. He was competing with Yuriy Klimchuk (Rukh) - 33.2% of votes, Dmytro Kryskiv (Shakhtar) - 10.7% and Kyrylo Fesiun (Kolos) - 5.2%.
In the poll for the best UPL coach in July-August, the winner was Chernomorets Odessa coach Roman Grigorchuk with 43.8 per cent of votes. He was ahead of Yuriy Vernidub (Kryvbas) - 32.3% of votes, Vitaliy Ponomaryov (Rukh) - 20.9% and Patrick van Leeuwen (Shakhtar) - 3%.
We would like to add that the identification of the best player and coach of the month is conducted in two stages. First, representatives of Ukrainian sports websites and UPL partners name their contenders in both nominations. According to the results of these data are determined four best players and coaches of the month. At the second stage, an open poll is held on the official website of the UPL, in which everyone can vote for both the player and the coach.
