Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Vitalii Buyalskyi shared his expectations from the match of the 7th round of the Ukrainian championship against Vorskla in an exclusive commentary for Dynamo.kiev.ua.
- Vitalii, two matches of the Ukrainian national team against England and Italy in the Euro 2024 qualifiers are behind us. How are you preparing for the Ukrainian league match against Vorskla?
- We gathered at the base yesterday morning, not everyone has trained yet, but today we had a full training session. During the session, we practised the game in different units, as well as different tactical schemes.
- What do you think is the strength of the current Vorskla team?
- In my opinion, Vorskla is distinguished by its character, and Skrypnyk has a good team. In addition, the Poltava team has individually strong players who make quick decisions and can decide the fate of the match. In general, I can say that Vorskla looks strong in the game.
- Dynamo missed the last two rounds in the UPL. Does this put any psychological pressure or influence the team, as they need to catch up with their rivals?
- Not that it puts psychological pressure, it's just that when you look at the standings and don't see Dynamo in first place, you feel uncomfortable. That's why we just need to win all the matches in the Ukrainian league. Especially as we recently played poorly against Chornomorets.
- So you can say that every match is like a kind of final?
- Yes, it is like that in the Ukrainian league. You need to prepare for each match separately. Indeed, every match in the UPL is a final, and you need to be focused only on a particular opponent, not run ahead. As I said, you need to prepare for each match separately.
