After a pause in club football due to national team matches, Dynamo's first team has resumed preparations for the national championship matches in full strength.
The players returned to the team's location on Thursday. On that day, the team held one evening training session. However, after a long journey home, the players needed time to recover, so the main preparation for the next match began on Friday.
On that day, the Kyiv team had one practice session scheduled, which was open to the media. The training session was preceded by a rather lengthy theoretical session.
Work on the field began with a warm-up, during which the physical training coach offered the players an interesting and varied set of exercises aimed at developing both agility and strength.
Then the team worked on combinations, development and completion of attacks. After that, all the goalkeepers trained separately, and the field players worked on keeping the ball under pressure. Later, the work continued with the goalkeepers. The team worked on tactics based on the style of play of the nearest opponent.
Oleksandr Tymchyk trained under an individual programme. Kostiantyn Vivcharenko, Volodymyr Shepelev and Mykola Shaparenko did not take part in the training session. The latter missed the national team's matches against England and Italy due to injury. Instead, Taras Mikhavko, a player of the youth team, has been involved in working with the first team.
Over the next two days, the White and Blues will train in the evening. On the eve of the game against Vorskla, the team will remain at the training base. On the day of the match, the players will have a final pre-game theoretical session.
