Chelsea defender Rhys James may continue his career in the Spanish championship, Diario As reports.

Real Madrid are negotiating on the 23-year-old Englishman. The management of the "Royal Club" sees the player as a long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal.

James signed a six-year contract with Chelsea in 2022. Last season he played 24 matches, scoring 2 goals and giving 2 assists.
