Zorya player Oleh Danchenko, who was included in the team's squad for the first time after suffering a heart attack in the match against Metalist 1925, spoke about his health condition for the UPL TV telegram channel.
Oleg Danchenko- My health is fine, I have fully recovered. I estimate my readiness at 60 per cent, I'm slowly getting in shape, everything is great. The recovery took a long time, now I need to get fit.
- Are there any restrictions from doctors?
- There are no restrictions, I work in the general group. It's hard after seven months, but I want to return as soon as possible by immersing myself in work.
- Do you feel any fear before returning to the pitch?
- If you are afraid of something, then there is no point in continuing to play. There is some fear, but this is life and no one knows what will happen tomorrow. So I believe in the best!
- How was it for you to follow the team without being able to join the guys?
- Watching is one thing, but playing is another. It's much more responsible. It's interesting to keep a high level on the distance. This way, both the team and each player are valued more.
- What has changed in the workflow with the change of coach?
- The team wants to play attacking football. We need to learn to accept everything the coach gives us. I am sure the result will come.
- What are your expectations from the Conference League?
- They are positive. We need to play every match as if it were the last. We will give 100%, then there will be a result. You can't cheat football - we will evaluate the result by the points scored.
- How do you feel before the first match against Ghent?
- We need to get points for Ukraine. I don't think I need to motivate anyone else. Everyone knows why and who we play for. So we will come out for every game and fight for our country.
