Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Oleksandr Andrievskyi spoke about the preparations for the matchday 7 against Vorskla, which will take place today in the capital, and shared his plans for the current season.

- It went by so quickly, to be honest. I was at home at the weekend, dealing with the business that had accumulated during my active travels. I watched our national team's matches. The match with England, of course, turned out better, the match with Italy was difficult, but it's Italy, everyone understands everything. In the end, our national team has a good chance of reaching Euro 2024, even if it will be difficult in the subsequent matches.
- Now you have to play against Vorskla in the Ukrainian league. In what condition is the team approaching this game?
- I would note that Vorskla won three consecutive matches before the break in the championship, so the mood for this game will be appropriate. In general, it is always difficult for us to play with Vorskla. This is a pretty strong, uncomfortable opponent. But we are physically well prepared, we are constantly working on this component in training, so we will approach this game in good shape.
- Dynamo has played the fewest matches in the current league so far. In your opinion, did the constant postponements knock the team out of the right tone?
- It was the right decision. Because we were very tired of travelling for many hours. Physically, it would have been difficult to do everything. However, since we are no longer playing in European competitions, I think we will have time to play all the postponed matches this year.
- At the same time, the Ukrainian Cup is back. It's easy to guess that the team is tasked with winning the title. How challenging will it be for you?
- This is what makes the Cup interesting - everything is decided in one match. An outsider can knock out a favourite. You can't take every opponent lightly. Not so long ago, Agribusiness knocked out Shakhtar, and this is not the only moment in our cup history. Therefore, it is important to avoid underestimating the opponent at any stage of the tournament.
- You are known for your powerful and accurate long-range shot. Should fans expect more goals in this style from you this season?
- We'll see. We are not giving up on this idea - we will hit it. So, of course, you should expect such goals from me.
