This weekend there are matches of the 7th round of the Ukrainian Premier League championship among the clubs of the season-2023/24. Dynamo and Vorskla (Poltava) will play in one of these matches on Monday, 18 September. The kick-off of the meeting, which will be held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy, is at 17:00.

Kyivians have played three matches, gained six points in them (two wins, one defeat) and now occupy the tenth place. Poltava team scored nine points in five matches (three wins, two defeats) and are on the seventh line.
Last season Dynamo and Vorskla played each other twice. In the first round of the Ukrainian championship season-2022/23 the teams met in Kyiv. That match ended in a 1-1 draw. The guests responded to the goal of Dynamo's Vitaliy Buyalskiy with an efficient shot by Vladlen Yurchenko. And in the second round Dynamo managed to defeat Vorskla on its field - 2:1. Poltava team opened the scoring (Ruslan Stepanyuk scored), but in the first half Vladislav Vanat restored the balance, and right after the break Benito put the team ahead.
Last round Vorskla defeated Oleksandriya 1-0 (Oleksandr Sklyar scored the winning goal), while Dynamo's match with Zorya Luhansk was postponed due to the participation of both teams in the European cups and in the interests of preparation of the Ukrainian national team for Euro-2024 qualifying matches with England and Italy.
