Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta commented on his team's victory in the Premier League match against Everton in Matchday 5.
- We haven't won at this stadium in six years, and there were reasons for that. What matters is how you do your job and the effort you put in. I think we played an incredible match in that respect, we didn't allow them to pose a threat and we had a lot of chances ourselves. Gabriel Martinelli's first goal should have been awarded. We dominated the game and we are extremely happy to be coming home with a win and a clinch.
I think we moved the game into the areas we've been dreaming about for a long time and we looked solid. We allowed the opposition very, very little. They didn't create a single moment. It speaks to our intelligence and also to the way we fought," said Mikel Arteta.
