Mount and Varane return to training in MU's general group

Rafael Varane and Mason Mount have returned to training with Manchester United's general group ahead of the Champions League.

According to the club's press service, Varane and Mount took part in the team's last training session before departing for Germany on Tuesday morning. It is not yet known whether the duo will play against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, but the news is a timely boost for Eric ten Hag amid a full infirmary at the start of the season.

"Manchester United will still be without several other key players for the Bayern clash, including Luke Shaw, Aaron Van Bissaka and Sofiane Ambrose.
