Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that Brighton's victories over the top clubs in the Premier League can no longer be considered accidental. Roberto De Zerbi's men beat Manchester United 3-1 in the match of the 5th round of the Championship.
"Brighton adapted perfectly to their opponent. If we look at the number of players who took part in the goal combinations, in the case of the first goal, it was eight players. When they scored the second, almost every player took part, making 29 passes.
The football we are watching Brighton play right now is out of this world. Is this victory a shock? I don't think anything Brighton do now can be a surprise. I think we're watching one of the best teams in the Premier League and definitely one of the best coaches," Carragher said on Sky Sports.
