The arrested helicopter of former MP and honorary president of Poltava-based Vorskla Kostyantyn Zhevago has been handed over to the Ukrainian military and will now perform tasks in one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday, 20 September.

The agency said that now by decision of the military command of the country to ensure the fulfilment of combat tasks of one of the units was carried out forced alienation of the helicopter.
According to the GBI, the aircraft belonged to a legal entity controlled by the former MP. Zhevago used it for personal purposes during his stay on the territory of Ukraine.
On 28 December, Kostyantyn Zhevago was detained at the Courchevel ski resort in France. The SBI said that they were preparing the detention in co-operation with the Office of the Prosecutor-General in the case of embezzlement of 113 million dollars of the Finance and Credit Bank, whose shareholder is the businessman. His property has been seized.
