In the central match of the 8th round of the UPL championship, Rukh's players parted ways with Shakhtar Donetsk (1:1).

- To be honest, I would have preferred us to play with equal numbers. Because, being outnumbered, Shakhtar took up a circular defence and only occasionally used their formidable "weapon" - a quick transition from defence to attack. Given that Lviv created more goal-scoring chances, it means they were closer to winning. However, when you consider that we only got back into the game at the end of the match, then, perhaps, the result should be satisfactory.
- Did Shakhtar surprise you with anything yesterday?
- With a high level of performance. Appearing for the first time at our goal, they immediately scored. We need to learn from the Pitmen.
- Rukh is confidently in the top group in the UPL, but next week the Lviv team will face tough tests: a cup match with Oleksandriya and a regular season match with Kryvbas.
- According to my information, there will be a rotation in the match against the "citizens". And not because we do not respect the cup tournament. "Rukh also wants to go as far as possible on this 'front'. It's just that our strength is not unlimited, we need to take into account every little thing and it's important to approach the confrontation with Oleksandriya in a fighting sports form. After all, we have a rather long bench and we need to give everyone a chance to play. Moreover, next we have a confrontation with Kryvbas, which is on the move.
By the way, I like the way Kryvyi Rih play: aggressively, trying to impose a fight on every metre of the pitch. We play in a slightly different style. So it will be interesting to see whose arguments will be more effective.
