Former Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Aliyev spoke about his salary at the capital's club.
"Was I a dollar millionaire? Yes, I was. I had the same salary everywhere - at Dynamo, Lokomotiv and Anzhi. At Lokomotiv, it was a little more because there were bonuses for matches. At Dynamo, I had a specific salary. If Anzhi and I had stayed in the top flight and not been relegated, I would have had twice the salary.
I received 100 thousand dollars, I received 100 thousand euros. The bonuses were good. When we lost to Shakhtar in the UEFA Cup semi-finals, the bonus for the two games with Valencia was $45,000. But there were not always such matches.
I spent money in casinos, on things. I was a "clothes guy". Of course, I looked at the price tags, but I spent a lot, went to restaurants. I never counted money. I also had this disease - I played slot machines. I once lost $110,000 overnight.
I had no business. I could have invested, but I realised that the money would just disappear. I bought apartments, one big one, and my ex-wife just fucked it up. All my apartments cost a million dollars. I had five cars," Aliyev said in an interview on Ksenia Bolbot's YouTube channel.
