Former Ukrainian national team defender Artem Fedetskyi told us what he thinks about the prospects of Yurii Maksymov, the new head coach of Dnipro-1.
Artem Fedetsky- "Dnipro-1 has the potential to return to approximately the level it was at last season. Why not? Many of the players have remained the same, and a few more quality guys have joined.
I know Maksimov as a cool guy, a good person - with humour, understanding, European experience, because he played at Verderer. He has a lot of coaching experience and knows all the processes from the inside. It all depends on the coach. The way he communicates ideas to the players is how the team will play. If he has problems with this, the players individually and the team as a whole will feel constrained and will not be able to prove themselves.
I think Maksymov will definitely be able to do his job well at Dnipro-1," the UPL TV channel quoted Federko as saying.
