The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadym Gutzeit commented on the reaction of civilised countries to UEFA's decision to allow some Russian teams to compete.
"Seven countries have already supported Ukraine: England, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania. Together we will boycott the UEFA youth competitions to protest against the admission of Russian athletes. I believe that this list will grow. We will not play with those who are destroying our country. I am grateful to all the sports federations with whom we are defending Ukraine's national interests on the sports front!" Gutzeit wrote on Facebook.
