Borussia Dortmund's Dutch striker Doniell Malen has attracted the interest of English Liverpool, Bild reports.
According to the source, the Reds' manager Jurgen Klopp sees Malen as a backup for Mohamed Salah, who, according to various rumours, may leave the club at the end of the season. We would like to add that this season, Doniell Malen has already scored 4 goals and made 2 assists.
Malen is already familiar with English football. At one time, Doniell was involved in the Arsenal academy, representing the U-18 to U-23 teams before leaving for Eindhoven for €600,000 in 2017.
It will be recalled that Borussia Dortmund acquired Doniell Malen in the summer of 2021 for €30 million.
