This weekend there are matches of the 9th round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24. In one of them on Sunday, 1 October, Dynamo Kyiv and Alexandria met. The match was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

"Dynamo" traditionally for all the recent matches started today's match actively, and very quickly created the first goal chances. On the 8th minute of the match the Bilo-Syni played a combination in the central zone, Vanat broke into the penalty area, played to free Buyalskyi, who unhinderedly struck a shot from 10 metres, but it was blocked by one of Oleksandriya's field players. The episode did not end there: the ball bounced to Dubinchak, who shot from 18 metres, but in this case the guests were saved by Ermakov. Not even a minute later, Brazko made a dangerous shot from outside the penalty area - the ball almost hit the bar.
And on the 14th minute of the match Dynamo opened the score. After a free kick from the left flank, Karavaev won the fight in the air at the near post, extended the pass to the far post, where Brazhko confidently sent the ball into the net from the corner of the goalkeeper's box - 1:0.
Having achieved success, Kyiv did not slow down, still actively attacked and further the game took place exclusively on Alexandria's half of the pitch. But Dynamo had problems with scoring chances in this period of the match. We can only mention Yarmolenko's shot from the penalty line in the 30th minute of the game, after which the ball flew over the crossbar.
It all ended with Oleksandriya almost levelling the game towards the end of the half. And on the 39th minute the guests were very close to a goal - it was Shulyansky, developing the counterattack of his team, broke through the left flank, shot into the penalty area of Dynamo, where Dzhevani shot with a touch from five metres, but Buschan chose his position wisely and it allowed him to kick the ball away. However, four minutes later Alexandria equalised: after a corner kick from the left flank Sirota won the fight in the air, but played directly to Dzhevani, who shot point-blank at the far post - 1:1.
However, Dynamo managed to almost instantly regain the advantage in the score: on 44 minutes Yarmolenko, having entered the penalty area of the guests from the right, played to the advancing Vanat, who hit the target with a confident shot from five metres - 2:1, with this score the teams went to the break.
And in the second minute of the second half Alexandria equalised again. Kalitvintsev delivered a free kick from the left flank, Karavaev tried to intercept this pass, but he played directly to Skorko and the latter shot from 18 metres into the corner of Dynamo's goal - 2:2. Moreover, on the 51st minute of the match Shulyansky shot dangerously from the left side of the penalty area, but in this case the Bilo-Syni were saved by Buschan.
After that the game was equal for some time, but closer to the middle of the half Dynamo managed to gain a positional advantage. And on 65 minutes the Bilo-Syni had a chance to take the lead, but the ball after Vanat's shot flew over the crossbar. For a long time this goal moment remained the only one at the gates of "Alexandria", but in the 82nd minute of the match Kyiv not only managed to create another acute episode, but also to convert it into a goal: after a corner kick Vanat won the fight from the air, extended the pass to the far post, where Brazhko, freed from custody, shot from a metre into the goal - 3:2. Well, and in the compensated time of the second half the point in this match was set by Buyalskyi, having closed on the goalkeeper's line the pass of Kabaev, who spectacularly broke through the left wing - 4:2.
After nine rounds of the championship Dynamo has 15 points (with six matches played) and occupies the 5th place in the championship standings, three points behind the leading Shakhtar.
In the next, the 10th round Dynamo will have a guest match with the UPL debutant, Zhytomyr Polesie, which will take place next Friday, 6 October, in Zhytomyr at the Central City Stadium Polesie (kick-off - at 15:00).
