In the 27th minute Torino made the first substitution, replacing S. Sazonov with A. Tamese. Tamese. Just before the break P. Davidovic replaced D. Coppola. The second half started with the same intensity as the first, both teams were determined to break the deadlock. In the 54th minute, the Torino coach made two quick substitutions, releasing N. Radonjić and N. Coppola. Radonjić and N. Vlasic instead of I. Ilić and K. Linetti respectively. In response, the Verona coach made two substitutions in the 58th minute, with B. Amione replacing D. Faraoni and J.M. Cruz coming on in place of M. Djuric. As time went on, the tension on the pitch increased.
In the 71st minute, Torino player A. Tamese got into the referee's book along with Magnani, receiving a yellow card for a flagrant foul. The fans in the stands were in suspense, hoping for a goal that could turn the tide of the game in their team's favour. At the end of the game both coaches made another substitution. In the 76th minute R. Saponara from Verona replaced K. Ngonge, and in the 80th minute B. Soppi replaced R. Bellanova from Torino. Torino coach also introduced D. Seca instead of Y. Karamoh, adding fresh energy to the attack. Verona responded with T. Suslov replacing M. Junlu in the 85th minute. Despite several misses and close-range attempts, neither team could find the turning point they were aiming for. The final whistle blew and the match ended in a goalless draw. Both Torino and Verona can take positives from this match. Torino's defence showed its strength, while Verona's aggressive counter-attacks made their opponents on guard. Despite the fact that the scoreboard remained unchanged, the match was exciting for the fans and shows the competitive nature of Serie A football.
