Commenting on his team's 0-1 defeat to Dnipro-1 in yesterday's match of the 9th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, the head coach of Metalist 1925 Kharkiv, Oleh Holodyuk, criticised the quality of refereeing in the UPL.

Everything was spoiled by one long shot. I should also mention the skill of the opposing team's player. The only thing I didn't like was the realisation of chances, because we had enough of them.
We are proud of the team. We are only ashamed of our refereeing corps. It's just a shame that this is happening in football. I don't know what else people need. There is VAR at every game - and not to give such penalties is incomprehensible to me," the official website of Metalist 1925 quoted Holodyuk as saying.
