Barcelona's top scorer Robert Lewandowski will not play against Granada in the upcoming Spanish Liga round.
The Pole's examination showed that he has a sprained ankle on his right foot and needs some time to rest. Robert picked up the injury in the first half of yesterday's Champions League match against Porto. He was replaced before the break by Ferran Torres, who scored the only goal of the match.
Lewandowski will also miss Poland's European qualifiers against the Faroe Islands on 12 October and against Moldova three days later.
The Pole's participation in the Spanish league game against Athletic Bilbao on 22 October is also in doubt, but it is hoped that he will be fully recovered for the derby with Real Madrid in Barcelona on 28 October.
