Journalist Volodymyr Zverov commented on Dynamo's 2-3 defeat of Polissya in the 10th round of the Ukrainian championship.
"How did Dynamo win most of their matches this season? The Kyiv attack essentially won against their own defence. They quickly delivered the ball close to the opponent's penalty area, and there were combinations, many touches, and shots.
Against Polissia "Dynamo came out without Yarmolenko, and this was a key factor in this game. The number of opponents who concentrated on Yarmolenko allowed us to find more space for others.
I've heard some arguments about how much Yarmolenko, at the age of 34, can be Dynamo's engine. Maybe not, but he is 100% an on-board computer. Without him, Dynamo will not win this championship. Trophies are won by defence, but this is not the case with Dynamo 23/24," Zverov wrote on Telegram.
