It's official. Jose Maria Jimenez has extended his contract with Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid has announced on its official website that it has signed a new contract with the team's central defender Jose Maria Jimenez.

The Uruguayan footballer's new deal is valid until June 2028. This season, the 28-year-old played for the Matras in five matches.

It will be recalled that together with Atletico, Jimenez twice became the champion of the Spanish La Liga, and also won the Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Spanish Cup.
