English coach Frank Lampard will not be on the final list of candidates for the post of head coach of Glasgow Rangers.

The former Chelsea coach was ready to return to work, but did not reach an agreement with the management of the Scottish grandee. According to Sky Sports, the club are now considering two options - Yokohama coach Kevin Muscat and former Monaco coach Philippe Clement.

Rangers sacked Michael Beale a week ago. The club is third in the Scottish league table after 7 rounds with 12 points, 7 points behind the leader Celtic.
