FC Augsburg suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Darmstadt 98, who won 2-1. At the same time, FC Stuttgart picked up three points with a convincing 3-1 win over Wolfsburg. The match between Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim 1899 was very tense: the latter team won a convincing 3-2 victory.
