French national team includes Olivier Giroud in application for Euro 2024 qualifiers as goalkeeper

The French national team reacted on its official Twitter page to the action of AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud, who replaced Mike Mignolet in the team's goal.

At the end of the Serie A matchday 8 match against Genoa (1-0), the Rossoneri's main goalkeeper received a red card. At that point, Stefano Pioli had already used all his substitutes, so Giroud was forced to take on the role of Milan's goalkeeper. His actions helped the team to keep a minimal advantage.

Now Olivier Giroud can be seen in the list of goalkeepers for the upcoming matches of the French national team in the qualifiers for Euro 2024.
