Former Ukraine midfielder Yevhen Levchenko has reacted to UEFA's decision to cancel the admission of Russian U-17 teams to international tournaments.

"I am very happy with UEFA's wise decision to abandon plans to allow Russian minors (U-17) to participate in international competitions during the Russian war in Ukraine.

Huge kudos to all those countries who supported Ukraine and dared to speak out.

I hope that in the future some football associations will have the courage to speak out and something will be less politically correct.

Only together we can change football!
