Vitaliy Mykolenko, the defender of the Ukrainian national team and English Everton, also took part in the press conference of Serhiy Rebrov, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, held today in Prague, dedicated to tomorrow's Euro 2024 qualifying match with the national team of Northern Macedonia.
- What can we expect from our opponent, the North Macedonian national team?
- I think it is better to ask our head coach. I go out on the pitch and fulfil the set-up for the game. But I can say that the North Macedonian team has a very good attacking line, and they are very good on the counterattack. I think the Macedonians will try to play the same football they played in the first match against us.
- Your first thoughts when you look at the current standings of our group?
- I agree with our head coach that the next match is the most important. If we don't take three points in every match, it will be very hard for us to fulfil our objectives.
- How comfortable are you on the flank with your new partner - Mudryk?
- If we have been playing together with him for almost a year, he is not a new partner. (Smiles). We try to establish a relationship with him. I think, we are getting better and better with each training camp. Both on the field and off it. Everything is going well.
