In an interview with the UPL TV telegram channel, the former Dynamo and other Ukrainian league clubs defender spoke about the October matches of the Ukrainian national team.

- We know that there are losses of Tsygankov and Yarmolenko. These are the key players of the national team. We cannot play several matches with one pair of central defenders. Although there is a good selection of performers there.
- What can be a key factor in the victory over North Macedonia?
- This is an interesting team. You don't know what to expect from them. They can play a good game, or they can fail. Many players play in good European championships. I would call them a strong mid-table team in European football. Plus, we see that they are on an equal footing with us in terms of points. They need to be respected. For both them and us, this match will determine whether the qualifying cycle will continue to matter at all. The price of defeat is extremely high.
- What kind of football will the national team of Ukraine play against North Macedonia?
- In such matches, in the first 15 minutes, the teams will put as much pressure as possible without the ball to try to catch the opposition in a mistake. Even though no one will open up. During this time, they will feel how the game is going and make adjustments.
