"Birmingham" officially announced the appointment of Wayne Rooney as head coach of the team.
It is reported that the agreement with the legendary former forward is for 3.5 years. Rooney's assistants will be Ashley Cole, John O'Shea, Karl Robinson and Pete Shuttleworth.
Rooney's last club was D.C. United, which he coached from July 2022.
