FC Dynamo's head doctor Andriy Shmorgun has informed the club's website that Andriy Yarmolenko underwent surgery in Barcelona.
Andriy Yarmolenko (photo: Yuriy Yuriev)- Yesterday, Yarmolenko underwent surgery at the Quirónsalud Clinic in Barcelona by Professor Ramon Cugot. The operation was successful. The estimated rehabilitation period is about 4 months. The surgery was required as a result of several injuries to the same ligament. It was decided to reconstruct the damaged ligament. This is not an acute injury sustained on the field, but a consequence of several injuries.
It will be recalled that Yarmolenko did not take part in Dynamo's match against Polissia.
