The Ukrainian Premier League clubs met with the UAF Arbitration Committee, the Committee's chairman Luciano Luci and chief arbitration expert Nicola Rizzoli. The meeting was held online with the participation of the leadership of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ukrainian Premier League.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of controversial game moments and their analysis. The clubs also expressed their wishes for further dialogue with the Referees Committee.
"Indeed, a working meeting was held with the participation of representatives of all Ukrainian Premier League clubs and the UAF Arbitration Committee, with the participation of the head of the committee Luciano Luci and the chief arbitration expert Nicola Rizzoli.
The parties exchanged views on the quality of arbitration of Ukrainian league matches. Such meetings are very necessary, and we hope they will take place on a regular basis. Colleagues from the Referees' Committee demonstrated how all Ukrainian Premier League matches are analysed. This is a really hard work, each episode is reviewed, analysed and recorded in a separate file.
The participants of the meeting reviewed and analysed the situations from the previous rounds, regarding which the clubs had comments and questions. The conversation was frank and constructive, and everyone was satisfied and thanked for this work.
The clubs also expressed a wish that the work of the Arbitration Committee should be more open. We have previously agreed that the video analysis of matches conducted by the Referees Committee will be available on the official resources of the Committee," said Yevhen Dykyi, UPL Director.
