Former Liverpool defender Glen Johnson commented on the transfer of midfielder Mason Mount to Manchester United.
"At the moment, he regrets his decision to join Manchester United. "Manchester United is a very big football club, but you don't go there with the expectation that you will be part of a team in 10th place in the Premier League. You only want to go there to fight for big trophies.
I don't know why he decided to leave Chelsea, but I'm sure at this point he's doubting the rightness of his decision," the Daily Express quoted Johnson as saying.
It will be recalled that in the summer of 2023, the Red Devils paid £60 million for Mount's transfer to Chelsea.
